The AAWM Awards, invites all commercial and personal sites to apply. We ask a few things before submitting your site to the WWW Awards.

(A) Reading and acknowledging the criteria used in the Program (B) Honoring the commitment to proudly display these Awards on the winning URL. (C) You must be the Webmaster or owner of the site you are submitting for a WWW Award. (D) International sites must offer an English translation, in order for us to be able to read the content on your site.

Some parties do not give these four requirements the respect they deserve and consequently, The AAWM Awards  is disappointed each month NOT to be able to give some excellent Sites the credit they deserve - simply because these simple items were not followed.  Please read our criteria carefully.
A Gold, Silver, Bronze or Platinum Award from the WWW Awards must be EARNED and all criteria must be met.

In order to comply with C.O.P.P.A. you must be at least 13 years of age to nominate a Web title. However, The AAWM Awards requires applicants to be at least 18 years of age.

Applicants must agree with the following rules before applying to The AAWM Awards:

	Applicants understand that not ALL submissions win an Award.  Applicants, who do not win an award, may submit their sites again after 30 days of the initial application, if significant improvements have been made to their sites.
	You must be the Webmaster, Designer or creator of the site you are submitting for an award.
	By submitting your URL to the AAWM Awards you are agreeing to have your winning URL publicly listed on our "Award Winners" page.
	You understand that Award Graphics may not be altered in any way shape or form, without written consent, from The American Association Of Webmasters.  Altering our awards without written consent, can result in your link removed from our winner's page.
	Applicants, whom refuse the award they have won from the AAWM Awards, will be banned permanently from applying for our awards in the future.  No exceptions!

****Important Notice For Web Design Firms*****
Web Design firms may apply for their clients websites, however, the client must be notified that you have entered their website and the award MUST BE DISPLAYED ON THE WINNING WEBSITE (if the website wins). Design Firms that do not display the awards they win on their clients winning website, will have the award revoked and will be banned from future submissions. Award graphics or winning announcements, may NOT be displayed on the design firms portfolio, until the award has been placed on the winning website.

TERMS OF USE FOR AWARD GRAPHICS (If your website has won our award).

Save the award graphic to your hard drive, then upload it to your web server,
Please do not copy and paste graphic to your website!!  Pasting the award graphic to your site is considered Bandwidth theft and will cause your listing to be removed from our winners list without notice!  If you cut and paste the award graphics to your web, it will also prompt your visitors for a "Password".   (This means that the graphic was not properly saved). Any award graphic used must be saved on your local hard drive before uploading to your web.  You may then link the graphic back to our site at: www.aawebmasters.com. FOR THOSE BROWSER THAT DO NOT SUPPORT POPUP'S, OUR "SECRET WORD" IS "WEBMASTER".  Please be sure to enclose the secret word in the application form, to guarantee a free entry.

Privacy Statement - The AAWM Award Progam collects information from applicants for award listing purposes only.  The AAWM Award Progam will not divulge any personal information (E-mail addresses, age, gender, address, phone numbers etc.,) about any applicant, not associated or affiliated with The World Wide Web Awards.  The only information to be released will be award winners winning URL (address) with their website name, screenshot and link to your winning URL, that will be listed on our award winners pages or featured sites page.  Applicants, agree to this, when submitting their site to our award program.

Notifications - Should your URL/Domain win one of our awards, we will notify you in email with your winning award and user name and password to pickup your award on our secret web, along with the URL on our site that we have your link listed.  We will also notify you if your URL has been chosen to as the "Website/Webmaster Of The Year".
