The American Association of Webmasters is a professional association made up of individuals and organizations committed to advancing the web profession through the practice, teaching and development of World Wide Web knowledge.
Our primary role is to connect like-minded professionals to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, as well provide resources, tools, and training to support web professionals and thought leadership across the globe.
Vision
The direction of the Internet is ever-evolving. As the World Wide Web’s continues to develop, the web professional’s role will simultaneously progress. The AWA is built on the concept of community and common interest. The AWA envisions itself as space for like-minded individuals to connect, communicate and learn—regardless of their professional title or responsibilities. The AWA will welcome all persons across the globe who have a genuine interest and desire to advance their faculties, as well as that of the World Wide Web’s and also share the AWA’s philosophy, values, and goals.
